Daniel "GrandDad" E. Price

Daniel E. "GrandDad" Price, 58, of Mansfield, passed away at Avita Ontario Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2018. Daniel was born on June 12, 1960 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the son of Thomas Sylgwyn Price III and Mary Virginia (Flanagan) Price.

A devoted father of five, he loved and enjoyed being with his family. As an attorney, you could always count on Daniel for a good debate. He had a softer side as well, as gentle, kind, caring and romantic describe him too. Daniel was a Christian man, who believed when his time on earth was over, God would bring him home to heaven. A true example of unconditional love, Daniel's love for you was very evident by the way he treated you, and you never had to question it. His passion in life was raising Rough Collies, and he loved his fur babies.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Hagerty) Price; children, Mary (James) Cornette, Amber (Cameron) Thompson, Thomas Price V., Cheyenne (Jeff) Mac Iver; granddad to eleven, Dakota Upp, Miranda Schroeder, Albrey, Anden and Atlee Price, Gavin and James Cornette, Cooper and Clara Thompson, Elijah and Addilynn Mac Iver; step-children, Cody and Katelyn Hagerty; and six siblings. Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Jessie Nemeth Schroeder; and brother, Thomas Price IV.

The family will observe a private gathering. Burial will be at a later date in Toll Gate Baptist Church Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents and brother. Daniel's passion was his dogs, please make memorial contributions to the family for the care of his fur babies until fur-ever homes are found for them.
