Daniel L. 'Danny' Zehner, 52, of Mansfield, died Friday, September 30, 2005 at his home after an extended illness. Born October 28, 1952 in Mansfield, he was the son of William W. and Martha M. Dune Zehner. He attended the Mansfield First Assembly Church. A 1971 graduate of Mansfield Senior High, Mr. Zehner loved riding motorcycles, grilling outdoors, and family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Terry Sprague Zehner; son, Rocky Zehner of Mansfield; brother and sister-in-law, William and Cheryl Zehner; mother-in-law, Barbara Maxine Sprague of Mansfield; father-in-law, Robert and Ota Sprague of Phoenix, Arizona; aunt, Carolyn Bricker of Shelby; uncle, Robert Zehner of Ontario; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; two great nieces; and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and nephew, William E. Zehner, II.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2005 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Burial in Mansfield Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
