Danny Elliott, 73, of Shelby, passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Danny was born on December 7, 1944 in Mansfield. He was the son of James and Helen (Hunger) Elliott.
He was a dedicated father who loved spending time with his daughter and adored his grandchildren. Danny attended Mansfield Senior High School, and served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was employed as a mechanic with different businesses throughout his career. He loved to frequent local clubs such as Sons of Herman, Eagles, Owls and the VFW.
He is survived by his daughter, Michele Lee; grandchildren, Joseph, Chloe, and Zoey O'Hail; great-granddaughter, Payton O'Hail; sister, Sandra (Jim) Altaffer; and an abundance of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon Elliott; five brothers; and two sisters.
There will be no services held at this time. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the Elliott family.
