David A. Bishop, 60, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 30, 2007 at his home. Born September 20, 1947 in Mansfield, the son of Robert and Bernice Stanish Bishop. He loved to fish and play baseball.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Bernice Bishop; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Terry and Vicky Bishop and Jeff and Vanessa Bishop, both of Mansfield; sister, Cathy Bishop of Mansfield; and nieces and nephews, Nicky Bishop, Breanna Bishop, Madison Bishop, Jamie Bishop, Sarah Bishop and Taylor Smith.
The family requests no flowers are sent. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Christopher R. Thomas. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
