
David Lee Bosworth, 52, of Mansfield died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, May 14, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He went home to be with his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. David was born May 15, 1950 in Green County, Pennsylvania to Charles and Virginia Mae Pennell Bosworth. He was retired from Boeing Aerospace Division. David was a member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion, and Moose Lodge in California. He was also a member of the Eagles, Sons of Herman and Sons of Italy in Mansfield. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed mushroom hunting and was a big time wrestling fan.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Roxann and Ricky Gibson of Mansfield and Wendy Camaron, of Findlay; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Schlupp II, Randy and Laura Schlupp, all of Mansfield, Troy Allen and Stephanie Callahan of Ada, Ohio, and Kim Schlupp of Salem, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, Samantha and Brittany Gibson, Randy II and Amber Schlupp, Roger III, Cassandra, Brian and Sarah Schlupp, Makenna, Makayla and Hailey Callahan and Matthew Camaron; three great-grandchildren, David Gibson, and Brianne and Kandice Butler; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Louise and George Parkinson of Mansfield and Jeannie Gantz of Dallas, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Donna Bosworth of Galion; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Rose and Wayne Compton of Mansfield and Diane Detillion of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Judy Sue Hooper Bosworth on March 30, 2002; and twin granddaughters, Madison and Elizabeth Callahan.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday, May 18 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Ross Wiseman and Rev. Glenn Phillips will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
