

David was loving hearted, and very generous with his time. He was intelligent, talented, and very adventurous from a young age. He was always tinkering, and he was an avid reader. David loved motorcycles, camping at the river, and traveling. He also greatly enjoyed history, antiquing, and trains. He loved his family and grandchildren very much. David Graduated from Ontario High School with the class of 1969 and went to work for Empire Detroit Steel, where he later retired. He was a proud United States Navy veteran.
David is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Jack) Warwick of Shelby; parents, Harold and Marlyn Hunt of Ontario; five grandchildren, Cody, Brittnie, Amanda, Brandon, and Kaitlyn; his former wife and love of his life, Deborah Ann Hunt of Shelby; two brothers, Craig Hunt of Ontario, and Douglas (Val) Hunt of Crestline; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd. There will be no services held at this time.
