Deborah Allen

She was born March 13, 1954, in Galion, Ohio. On May 12, 1979, she married her true love John Edward Allen of Tiro, Ohio. They made their home in Mansfield, where they hosted many family reunions. Deborah was retired from Third Street Family Health Services in Mansfield.

Aunt Deb was a good cook, always making delicious food when family gathered. She enjoyed visiting casinos and the beach and spent a lot of time gardening. Reading and antiquing were favorite pastimes. We will remember her for her directness, warm heart, and strong work ethic.

She is survived by Marj & Russ Allen; Carol & Bob Chapman; Rosemary (David) Allen; nieces and nephews: Ken Allen, Kevin Allen, Lori Allen, Tina Allen Kolessar and Kimberly Allen Love; Bob Chapman II, Ed Chapman, Barb (Chapman) Raymond; Bobby Shaw, Bill Shaw, Lynette (Shaw) Barkley; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her beloved mother- and father-in-law, her husband preceded her in death in 2020.

The couple’s ashes will be buried at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Mansfield Cemetery, Altamont Avenue. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
