Debra K. Fugate Brown, 49, of Mansfield, died early Monday morning, January 10, 2005 at her home after an extended illness. Born January 23, 1955, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Ival J. and Gladys Eileen Eliott Fugate. A Mansfield area resident her entire life, Debra had worked at Micki's Creative Options. She regularly attended Hilltop Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Brown; a daughter, Roxanne Lynn Gassama of Columbus; a granddaughter, Brianna McKinney; four brothers, Shelton Lee Fugate, Ival J. Fugate, both of Wichita Falls, Texas, Harlan Matthew Fugate of Mansfield, and Mark Aaron Fugate of W. Columbia, South Carolina; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Roxanne Fugate.
Memorial services conducted by Rev. Curt Wagner will be held Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family
