
Delbert F. Clutter, 77, of Mansfield, died Wednesday March 9, 2005 at Oak Grove Manor after an extended illness. Born February 12, 1928 in Webster Springs, West Virginia, he was the son of Christopher Columbus and Ocie Ethel Garvin Clutter. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly, 258 Stadium St., Mansfield. Mr. Clutter retired from Jennison Wright Corporation after 25 years of service and he enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Velma Utt Clutter of Mansfield; two sons and daughter-in-law, Terry Lee Clutter, and Keith E. and Deanna Clutter, all of Mansfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Cookie and Steven Hilliard of Revenna, Michigan; five grandchildren, Brandy Clutter, Alicia Clutter, Rachel Clutter, Paula Hilliard, and Scott Hilliard; four great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, James W. and Betty Clutter of Webster Springs, West Virginia; one sister-in-law, Joann Clutter of Webster Springs, West Virginia; two sisters and brother-in-law, Aretta Lewis of Painesville, and Louise and Richard Smith of Danville, Pennsylvania; one brother-in-law, Lawrence Bruffey of Parcoal, West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Doshie Wright, and Anna Bruffey; and one brother, Paul Clutter.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday March 11, 2005 at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Apostolic Christian Assembly Church, 258 Stadium St., with Pastor Robert O'Brian officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
