

Delores Jean Stevens, 73, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday evening, October 27, 2015, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born February 4, 1942, in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late Clyde Vern Robbins and Edna Virginia Helton Robbins.
Delores enjoyed playing cards, reading, watching TV and going out to dinner. She was a wonderful homemaker and being with her children and grandchildren were her favorite activities. Being part of a large family was a source of pride and she enjoyed talking with her brothers and sisters regularly.
She is survived by four children, Michael Vern (Roxanne) Stevens, Mary Jo (Ryan) Stevens-Spon, John Vern (Ginger) Stevens, Jonathan Wayne (Carla) Stevens; eleven grandchildren, Michael, Delores, Dillan and Jay Stevens and Brandon Reasor, Steven and Katrina Pressley, Corey Morrison, Bryant Shorter, Devon and Sierra Brasser; nine great-grandchildren, Austin, Chelsea, Joshua, Caleb, Hunter, Alex, Zaden, Grayson and Landon; and three siblings, Joann Robbins-Runyon, Gary D. Robbins and Larry G. Robbins; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Stevens; and six brothers and sisters, Betty Marie Robbins-Tackett, Virginia Lee Robbins, John D. Robbins, Barbara S. Robbins-Lewis, Mary Lou Robbins-Back, and Sharon Kay Robbins-Keeton.
A funeral service conducted by Dr. John D. Freeman will be held Friday, October 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio. Ron Spon will assist with the service. The family will receive friends in the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
