

Diane Kay (Pruner) Tucker, 69, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Born July 6, 1947 in Ashland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Harold F. and Ruth C. (McCormic) Pruner.
She worked as a binder at Bookmasters and attended West Main Grace Brethren Church in Ashland. She was a former member of the Pavonia Garden Club. She loved flowers, gardening, fishing, yard work and canning. She enjoyed working in her garden and teaching her daughter-in-law to can and prepare food that was grown in the garden. She also enjoyed having Butter Pecan ice cream and time spent on the beach.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Josie Barcroft of Mansfield, Kevin and Holly Barcroft of New Hampshire; a daughter, Anita Swanger of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Dalton Swanger, Connor Lindsey and Evie Barcroft; brothers and sisters, Forrest (Sally) Pruner of Olivesburg, Harold "Wendell" Pruner of Ontario and Jan Jarvis of Ashland, Shirley (Robert "Bob") Wise of Mansfield and Marshall (Mary Ellen) Pruner of Shiloh; and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Dan Jackson of Grace Brethren Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Olivesburg. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
