

Donald L. 'Don' Lash, 88, of 1609 County Road 1095, Ashland, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1915 in Ashland the son of Andrew Loyal and Bertha May Stought Lash. Mr. Lash was the owner/operator of Lash Litho Plate in Ashland until his retirement. He was a member of the Mansfield Power Squadron, former member of the Country Club of Ashland, and while in high school, was a member of the vocal choir. He was Methodist by faith.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith Ann and John K. Reider of Concord, OH, Deborah L. and David K. Teets of Bucyrus, three sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Connie Lash of Ashland, Denny and Bonnie Lash of Ashland, and David and Debbie Lash of Norwalk; 13 grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Mary Lash, Tim and Marsha Lash, Keith and Tammy Lash, Kent and Renee Lash, Todd Reider, Jeffery and Jennifer Reider, Daniel and Linette Reider, Jennifer Reider, Dardi and Joe Hendershott, Donna and Michael Massey, Darrin Lash, Christopher and Brandon Teets; 20 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Thomas and Betty Barker both of Ashland; several nieces and nephews; and a special companion, Betty Hange. His parents, his wife, Jean Knowles McMillan Lash, and two brothers, Joe and Herle Lash, preceded Mr. Lash in death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors with Dr. Sanford Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio or to Sunshine Homecare Agency.
