

Donald 'Junior' Marsh, 67, of 2306 Bowman St. died Tuesday afternoon April 26, 2005, following an extended illness. Donald was born in Lewis County, West Virginia on March 16, 1938 to the late James H. Marsh and Kathleen Crowe Marsh. He moved to Mansfield in 1966, where he became an auto mechanic. Mr. Marsh was the owner and operator of Don's Auto Repair for over 30 years until his retirement in 2003. Jr. was an antique and muscle cars collector and restorer. He enjoyed spending his time at car shows with his many friends and son. He also had a great love for animals, raising horses and cattle on his farm.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Marsh. Jr. leaves five children to cherish his memory, three daughters, Kimberly Charles Conn, Lisa James Crouse, and Robin Jose Vasquez, all of Mansfield; two sons, Donald Laura Marsh of Mansfield, and Rick Griggs of Mt. Clare, West Virginia; four brothers, James H. Marsh, Jr., William Marsh, Robert Marsh, and Peck H. Marsh, all of West Virginia; seven sisters, Jean Glover, Evelyene Mitchell, Darlene Hinzman, Elsie McCloud, Samantha Marsh, all of West Virginia, Madalene Kincaid of Cleveland, and Ruby Riffle of Warren; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; five step-children, Ron Minnich of Columbus, Rick Minnich, Mike Minnich, and Mark Minnich, all of Mansfield, and Candy Lewis of Delaware; and seven step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Kathy Darlene Marsh. Jr. made many good friends over the years and will be sadly missed by all.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday April 29, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Clifford E. Tackett officiating. The family will also receive friends at his son's home at 226 Poplar Street Mansfield following the services.
