Doris Caldwell

Doris M. Caldwell, 95, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Kingston of Ashland. Born October 2, 1925 in Marion, Ohio, she was the daughter of Earl and Lola B. (Bailey) Berry.

Doris was a member of Mansfield First Assembly of God. A homemaker, she enjoyed shopping and reading but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Arnie Caldwell of Newport, Tennessee and Steven Caldwell of Urbana, Ohio; her daughters-in-law, Lois Caldwell and Kelly Caldwell-Kowalski both of Mansfield; 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and her sister, Floran Rodgers of Marion, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Caldwell on June 7, 1995; her daughter, Carmelita K. Browning; her son, James Caldwell; and her sister, Lucille Stratton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity of choice.
