Doris Fess

Doris E. Fess, 92, of 800 Logan Rd. died, Wednesday evening October 15, 2003 at Winchester Terrace following a brief illness. Mrs. Fess was born July 5, 1911 in Columbus, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area for the past 16 years. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Lorrie and Kirke Jackson of Orlando, Florida; three sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Joan Speakman of Ontario; Jack and Pat Speakman of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Robert and Jackie Speakman of Flagstaff, Arizona; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jerry and Patricia Speakman; David and Judy Speakman; Teri and Scott Dishman; Pam Taylor; and Debbie and Warren Williams; ten great-grandchildren and one niece, Patricia Schwenk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Anna Irene Slyh Bechtel; first husband, John Speakman; second husband, Lowell Fess; granddaughter, Vicki Wagner and one brother, Robert Bechtel.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Bruce Copley. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
