Dorothy Hutchinson

Dorothy "Jean" Linn Hutchinson, 80, of Mansfield, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a brief illness. Dorothy was born September 29, 1927 in Mansfield to Roy Linn and Doris Crowl Linn. Dorothy retired from Therm-O-Disc and was a member of the Therm-O-Disc Lunch Bunch. She loved to read and make visits to the Mansfield Library. She also enjoyed many years at Bay Point, Marblehead, Ohio. She treasured the time she spent with her family and especially her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kay and Carl Schnittke of Ontario, and Catherine Hutchinson of Mansfield; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tom and Raquel Hutchinson of Davey, Florida, and Robert Hutchinson of Santa Cruz, California; seven grandchildren, Carl Schnittke, Lisa Schnittke, Staci and Keith Schnittke Kohler, Misty, Ryan, and Mark Hutchinson, and Matthew and Kristin Hutchinson; six great-grandchildren, Spencer Schnittke, Austin, Seth, Jillian Kohler, Tyler and Keira Hutchinson; two sisters, Pat Fox, and Ginny Enzor; two brothers, Dick and Bill Hairston; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hutchinson in January 1999; parents; and sister, Mary.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. James Boubary. Private burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
