

Edith was a good Christian woman. She was extremely generous with her heart, and always kind. She was also a fabulous cook. Edith was the best mom ever, and she lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edith was a second "mom" to many. She had a great sense of humor, even to her last days. She was married to the love of her life, Vernon L. Hall, for almost 59 years.
Edith is survived by her children, Patti Hall-Jackson, Jeff (Sandy) Hall, and Doug (Linda) Hall; her 12 grandchildren, Jeff and Greg Jackson, Joe Bertka, Fara Allen, Ellen Hall, Jeff Hall II, Maranda, Ian, and Mason Hall, Steven and Brandon Higginbotham, and Shannon Dunham; 18 great-grandchildren; first great-great-grandchild due in three months; and three sisters, Inez Caudill, Betty Middleton, and Geraldine Roe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and four sisters, Grace DeWitt, Myrl DeWitt, Hazel Staggs, and Peachie Gregory.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd., Ontario. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Mark Bailey will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church Youth Ministries.
