

Edith T. Perry, 88, of Mansfield died Monday morning, November 11, 2002 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home after an extended illness. Mrs. Perry was born June 21, 1914 in Rowan County, Kentucky living in the Mansfield area since 1949. She retired from Dominion Electric in 1965. She was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple. Edith loved her church, gardening, flowers, puzzles, Bingo and especially TV.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley & Bill Owens of Mansfield; a son, Bill E. Perry of New Boston, Ohio; five grandsons and spouses, Michael Owens, Kevin & Pam Owens and Darren & Sue Owens, all of Mansfield, Steven Perry of California and Bill Lee & Debbie Perry of Texas; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed Thomas of New Boston, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Allen & Dora Alice Jennings Thomas; her husband, Raymond V. Perry; two brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services Thursday at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Richard Folger. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Winchester Terrace Nursing Home or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
