Edna Alexander

Edna Ruth Alexander, 75, of Mansfield, died Friday, October 22, 2004 in Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, Columbus. She was born December 23, 1928 in Mansfield to the late George Raymond Wagoner and the late Lois Gertrude Finney.

Surviving are four sons and their spouses, Carl Karen Alexander of Mansfield, Larry Linda Alexander of Mansfield, Michael Melissa Alexander of Lewis Center, Ohio, Mark Alexander of Mansfield; two daughters and their spouses, Barbara Albert Dunseth of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Kellie Mel Ruby of Centerburg; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three brothers and their spouses, Raymond Elaine Wagoner of Mansfield, James Pat Wagoner of Bellville, Robert Marsha Wagoner of Alexandria; sister, Naomi Cairns of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Sophie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Carl Alexander, Sr., whom she married January 26, 1946 and her parents.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, October 24 from 3-6 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home, Monday, October 25, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
