Eileen M. Mellick Jones, 81, of Ashland, died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at MedCentral Mansfield. Born January 17, 1929, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of George G. and Vera Dick Mellick. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and enjoyed being around and spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Bible and her Savior Jesus Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Marvin Dyann Jones of Toledo and H. Myron Pauline Jones of Maryland; two daughters, Marilyn David Kudika of Mansfield and Mary Joseph Nass of Berne, IN; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a brother, Duane Gail Mellick of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband whom she married August 31, 1948, Harold E. Jones who died on July 29, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Maranatha Baptist Church, Hayesville, Ohio conducted by Pastors Todd Grover and Joseph Nass. Burial will follow in Vermillion Cemetery, Hayesville. Friends may call one hour prior to the services, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the church on Thursday.
