

Emma Lee Davis Cook, 80, of Mansfield, died early Thursday, August 26, 2004, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Cook was born May 6, 1924, in Shelby, Mississippi, the daughter of Henry Eatmon and Inez Well and had resided in Mansfield most of her life. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving Emma are three sons, Joe and Myrtis Patterson of Mansfield, Robert Davis of Baldwin, Michigan, and Andrew Davis of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Beulah Davis Harris and Katie Davis both of Mansfield; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cook; parents; two daughters, Rosella Davis Graham and Inez Taylor; son, Annise Davis, Jr.; grandson, Mieko Jermaine Davis; and a great-granddaughter, Alidajah Unique Lee Johnson.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Mansfield Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Selvin Rambo. Joe and Myrtis Patterson will receive family and friends at their residence, 603 Lida Street, Mansfield, after the service. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
