

Etta Mae Rigney, 74, of Mansfield, died August 8, 2015. Born February 17, 1941 in Vanceburg, KY, she was the daughter of Fred and Mary (Renchen) Horsley. A private lady, Etta enjoyed doing puzzles and crochet and was a Cleveland Indians baseball fan.
Surviving are her daughter, Wanda (Jon) Ahles; son-in-law, Ken Tesso; grandchildren, Melissa (Mike) Fullmer, Merriah Shade, Teareanna (Ryan Omeara) Tesso, Amber (Marvin Ramsey) Phelps, and Ashley (Scott) Harwell; fourteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, Margaret Kinney, Faye (Ronald) Wilson, Angie (Robert) Helbig, Wayne (Cindy) Horsley, Stanley (Bonnie) Horsley, and Mike Horsley.
Along with her parents, Etta was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Penrod and William Rigney, Sr.; daughter, Patricia Tesso; siblings, Robert Horsley, Freddie Horsley, and Lucille (Al) Elliot; and brother-in-law, Arnold Kinney.
The family would like to thank Winchester Terrace Nursing Home for their loving care of Etta over the past ten years.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. Services will begin at 6 p.m., conducted by Celebrant Mark Dettmer. Burial will be held in Oak Grove Memorial Park at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
