Evelyn Etzwiler died on October 28, 2022 after a brief illness. She was a resident of Primrose Retirement Community on Millsboro Road in Mansfield, Ohio. Evelyn was born on January 29, 1931 in Mansfield to Peter and Christine Schulties. She graduated from Madison Senior High in 1948. Evelyn was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob M. Etzwiler whom she married on April 23, 1949. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Schulties and Peter Schulties.
She is survived by one son, Eric (Rita) Etzwiler; one daughter, Kristina (Gerald) Benjamin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We cannot say enough about the Primrose Community and how well they cared for our mother during her illness. Southern Care Hospice also helped our mother during her final days. They helped make everything easier for our mother and our families. Evelyn had chosen compassionate cremation and no calling hours for her services.
