

Everett M. Zeigler, 79, died Saturday, January 18, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Mr. Zeigler was born September 19, 1923 in Darlington, Ohio to the late Grace McFerren and Earnest Zeigler. He was a graduate of Johnsville High School in 1942. Everett served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Ideal Electric after 46 years of service. He attended Grace Episcopal Church and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and yard work. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. Everett enjoyed the summer vacations he took with his wife, Henrietta and daughter, Angela.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Henrietta E. Duncan Zeigler, whom he married on October 13, 1944 at Grace Episcopal Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon L. and Daniel Farrell of Fishers, Indiana and Angela J. Zeigler and her fiancé, Andy Basista of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Roger M. Zeigler of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Brent G. and his wife, Brandi Farrell and Bradley K. Farrell, all of Indiana; one great-grandchild, Jon Daniel Farrell of Indiana; a sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Earnest Tinkey of Mansfield; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Esther and Ralph Gordon, Martha and Albert Duncan and Mary Duncan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Staley and Pauline Whitney.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Director, Wednesday, January 22 from 7-9 p.m. and from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Thursday at Grace Episcopal Church with the funeral service conducted by Father John Jorden and Rector Emeritus David Sipes at 1:00 p.m. Military graveside services will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
