

Frances Marie Gibson, 82, of Mansfield, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Hospice House of Ashland. She was born October 4, 1930 in Eastern, Kentucky to the late William and Elsie (Horn) Oney. Frances had previously worked at Rogate Industries.
Her hobbies included gardening, doing crafts and coloring. She liked to go to church on Sunday, camping and playing Bingo with her family and friends. Frances especially loved going on adventures on the back of her husband's Harley until his passing in 1999.
She is survived by 6 children, Ronald Gibson, Connie (Alan) Thayer, Terrie Gibson (Dave Mohrman), all of Mansfield, Linda Perry of Ashland, Cindy (Tim) Trail of WV, Mary (Gale) Bond of Mansfield; and 13 grandchildren, Todd, Craig, Karissa, Howard, Rachel, Scott, Elissa, Kelly, Sarah, Marie, Cody, Anthony and Brandie.
Frances is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Nikki, Shawn, Abigail, Cody, Garett, Evan, Danielle, Seth, Briana, Katelin, Andrew, Bristen, Kaylie, Timmy, Samuel, Ella, Noah, Whilloh, Brenden, Maci, Gabriel, Parker, Chase, Jaden and Jocelynn; brothers, Sam Oney of Shiloh and Bob (Joleen) Oney of GA; sister, Christine (Bill) Howell of Shiloh; many nieces and nephews; and her precious companion, her dog Maggie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; granddaughter, Kari; son-in-law, Waldo; brother, Virgil; and sisters, Opal, Mary and Lula.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah's House of Prayer, 74 Pettit St., Shiloh with Pastor Bill Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah's House of Prayer.
