Franklin McGuire

Frank D. McGuire, II, 34, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born November 29, 1976 in Springfield, Ohio, he is the son of Karen Sue Sigmon Walden and Frank McGuire. Frank was happiest when surrounded by his children. Rarely did you see him without his children running beside him. Whether it was wrestling tournaments with Cody, throwing the football with Jacob, teaching Zackary to ride his bike or playing baby dolls with his princess, Megan, he was constantly present for his children. Frank enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, camping and loved the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Frank is survived by his wife, Charissa Adams McGuire; father, Frank McGuire; mother, Karen Sue Walden; children and lights of his life, Cody, Megan, Jacob and Zackary; paternal grandparents, Jack and Thelma Sigmon; uncles, Jack and Rick Sigmon; and other close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janie Davis.

A memorial service celebrating Frank's life will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield with a Eulogy conducted by Richard Bloch. Family and friends may visit from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
