The fourth of five children, she had an independent spirit that led her to skydiving while she lived in Texas followed by a move to Georgia in her 20’s and 30’s. Quick with a joke, she had a wicked sense of humor that didn’t require an audience - her infectious laugh is one of the things that will be missed most.
In 1993, Gale settled down in a quaint country cabin near Lucas, Ohio, with the love of her life, Bill. The two became grandparents to Mackenzie and Logan - a role that made Gale sparkle. She loved being Grammy most of all, and she was the best at it.
The family will announce a private Celebration of Life Event at a future date.
