Garry Brown

Garry M. Brown, 62, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 23, 2015, at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born March 3, 1953, in Washington Court House, Ohio, to Evertt M. Brown and Edna E. (Spencer) Love.

Garry graduated from Pioneer Joint Vocational School and enjoyed working on cars throughout his life. Very much a jokester, he enjoyed being in the company of family and friends. Garry was an incredibly loving man and he made certain his family and friends knew how special they were to him. A deeply religious man, he read his Bible every day and was a faithful member of Bethel Freewill Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing.

Garry is survived by five children, Missy Jones, Chrissy (Carl) Schuster, Josh Brown, Roy (Britteny) Brown and Ami Brown; five grandchildren, Halee, Hunter, Wesley, Xavier and Keelie; two sisters, Glenda Roose and Retha (David) Brooks; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Larry Hill will conduct the service. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home in care of the family.
