
Gary Edward Bond, age 53, of Mansfield, died Sunday morning, July 3, 2005, at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby following a brief illness. Born November 27, 1951, in Mansfield to James Marion and Goldie Ines Stephens Bond, he was a Mansfield area resident his entire life. He was employed at New Hope Industries. He had attended Church of Christ in Christian Union and loved bowling, country music, dancing and watching the Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by four brothers and sisters-in-law, James C. and Sharon Bond, of Mansfield, Vernon and Ines Bond, Raymond and Nancy Bond, all of Greenwich, and Gale and Ella Bond of Shiloh; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Loraine and Jack See, Fay and Dan Jarrell, Dolores and Gary Smail, all of Mansfield, Phyllis and Marvin See of Greenwich, and Shirley and Charles Tackett of Shiloh; sister-in-law, Ruth Bond of Mansfield; a nephew, Rick Bond; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Elmo and Romie Bond and sister, Louise Sweet.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, July 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Art Lowe. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
