

Mike grew up in Bucyrus and attended both Wynford and Midland Valley High schools. He lived in Aiken, South Carolina for a number of years before settling in the Bucyrus and Mansfield area. Mike ran the warehouse at Broshco Fabricated Products for 7 years. A man of many talents, he was a good backyard mechanic.
Mike was an amazing father and uncle, friend to many, and always cared for others before himself. He especially cared deeply for his son and stepsons. Mike enjoyed fishing, keeping up on world news, and debating with anyone who was willing. He enjoyed swimming, collecting antiques and books, and reading his Bible. Mike was very artistic and created beautiful embroidery items.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie McNutt McClain; three children, Gary McClain Jr., Joshua Enright and Jacob Diemer; mother and special father, Mary Ann and Robert Neibarger; six siblings, Ralph McClain, Michelle Pardue, Barbara Hadden, Chad "Tony" McClain, Travis (Lisa) McClain and James McClain; a nephew, Joshua Hadden; numerous other nieces and nephews; and two dear cousins, Joey and Marvin McClain. He is preceded in death by his father, Randolph "Randy" McClain; and brother, Joey (Smella) McClain.
There will be no service or visitation at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
