
Gladys G. Lambert, age 93, of Mansfield, died early Sunday morning at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home, following a brief illness. Mrs. Lambert was born January 2, 1911 in Burton, West Virginia living in the Mansfield area for the past 56 years. She was a nurse's aide at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Mrs. Lambert was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She liked needle work, quilting, her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald A. & Wanita Lambert of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce & Harvey P. Williams of Mansfield; a son-in-law, Robert ' Bob' Myers; seven grandchildren, Cindy & Paul Lumadue, Debby & Michael Frieze, Brandy, Rachael, Sara, & Ron A. Lambert Jr., Lynn & Craig Bridges; and six great-grandchildren, Laura & Lisa Bridges, Megan & Dustin Lumadue, Alex Bentley, and Trinity Slife. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank C. & Martha E. Glover Sawyer; her first husband, Kenneth Glover; her second husband, Ray M. Lambert; a son, Kenneth Glover Jr.; a daughter, W. Jean Glover-Myers; a granddaughter, Lisa Dee Myers; three brothers, William F., George T. & Richard N. Sawyer; and two sisters, Nellie M. Sawyer-Hayes and Grace E. Sawyer-Cook.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Cloyd Kress. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
