Glenn was born in Mansfield, Ohio to Kenneth and Vivian Crabbe. He grew up in Lincoln Heights and graduated from Madison High School. He moved to Crestline while raising his young family. Glenn was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He retired after 33 years of over the road truck driving and then went on to work at several local golf courses as a maintenance technician. He had a knack for tinkering, in the shop and also as a hobby making models.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, and competitive card games. He will be dearly missed during Euchre games, and family events. He was competitive in sports, but was also a great teacher.
Glenn is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Joe) Jezik, and Julie A Crabbe; grandchildren Joey Jezik, Katarina (Samuel) Jezik, Michael Crabbe, Alaina (Logan) Crabbe, Richelle Crabbe, Steffen Crabbe, and Rowan Crabbe; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Frances Gabautz.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; and his sons, Richard B Crabbe and Glenn M Crabbe.
Special Thanks for the exceptional care of OhioHealth Mansfield, especially cardiac ICU Nurse Trina.
As per Glenn's wishes, there will be no memorial service. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner is honored to serve the Crabbe family.
Glenn will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and those who had the pleasure to know him.
