

Glenna Lynn Wilt-Steagall, 56, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born April 20, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Ralph and Sue (Shaffer) Wilt.
She was a graduate of Lexington High School. Glenna worked at Country Meadows Care Center for a short time and at the Brickyard for many years. She loved camping, going to concerts and the beach, planting flowers and watching meteor showers. Glenna loved the outdoors and running around barefoot. She was an animal lover and had a special place in her heart for horses. Glenna was the life of the party and will be remembered fondly by those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Wayne Steagall, Jr.; daughter, Kayleigh Wilt; father, Ralph Wilt; step children, Erika and Jessie Steagall; five step grandchildren; a sister, Loretta (Jack) Shelton; two nephews, Ralph Shelton and Gary (Megan) Shelton; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins who affectionately called her Nana.
Glenna is preceded in death by her mother, Sue Wilt; maternal and paternal grandparents; uncle, Richard Wilt; and great-nephew, Cody Shelton.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A funeral service conducted by Pastor Tony Pingitore will follow at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest in North Fork Cemetery, Fredericktown, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
