Gordon Geddes

Gordon E. Geddes, age 16, 1545 Clearview Circle died unexpectedly Friday evening in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.  He was born September 7, 1983 to David and Renee Heslep Geddes in Mansfield living in this area all of his life.  Gordon worked at the Wendy's on Ashland Rd., was a sophomore at Madison Comprehensive High School, a goalie for the Mid-Ohio Premier Soccer Team and enjoyed basketball, wrestling, fishing and swimming.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Surviving are his mother, Renee Geddes and her fiance Gary Sutter of Mansfield; his father, David Geddes and Anita Dillon of Mansfield; three sisters Lindy Watson of Mansfield, Jenny and Stacy Elliott of Florida; a brother, John Elliott of Canton. Ohio; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Heslep of Mansfield; paternal grandparents, William and Gerry Geddes of Mansfield; great grandparents, George and Dorothy Heslep of Mansfield; aunts and uncles, Scott and Cindy Heslep of Mansfield, Judy Williams of Lucas, Michael Geddes of Lucas and Scott and Diane Dininger of Loudonville;  numerour cousins and dear friends.  Also, a special girl friend Lindsey Weir.  He was preceded in death by a great grandfather, Dwight Sawyer; great grandparents John and Pearl Bonen and great grandmother Irene Heslep. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home by family friend, Birbage Howell. Burial will be in Windsor Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Ohio Tissue Bank, 2736 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43615-1823.
