
Heath Bowman, 28, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 22, 2009, at his residence. Born October 21, 1981, in Portland, Oregon, he was the son of Garry Bowman and Judy Stuff Burge. The most important to Heath was his children ~ they were his life and his pride and joy. He had a very special relationship with his sister. He also enjoyed music and his entertainment centers, always working on his home theater system with his brother, Colt. Heath was always full of life and everyone knew when he entered a room.
He was employed as a detail manager at Bakers Collision Repair and enjoyed golfing, corn hole, and working on his motorcycle.
Surviving are his son, Skylar Bowman and his mother, Teresa Freeman; his daughter, Amyah Bowman and her mother, Laurie Daugherty; his mother, Judy Stuff Burge of Mansfield; his father, Garry Debbie Bowman of Mansfield; his sister, Melissa Scott Mabe of Lexington; his four brothers, Chuck Margaret Burge of Mansfield, Shane Bowman of Newark, Colt Wendy Bowman of Mansfield and Cody Bowman of Mansfield; his nieces and nephews, Sylvia, Christopher, Brookelynn, Keeley, Ian, Jordan, Trevor and Shane, Jr.; a cousin, Jeri Evans, who loved Heath like a brother; his special aunt, Peggy Evans of Mansfield; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and four close friends, Karl Dailey, Jeremiah Fields, Chris and Megan Strain and Kraig Levingston. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Donna Stuff and his paternal grandparents, Max and Jean Bowman.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2009, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Ronald Daley. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
