Helen ''Illie'' Weiss

Helen ''Illie'' Rephun Weiss, 87 of 109 W. Straub Rd. died Friday November 3, 2000, at MedCentral Mansfield following a brief illness. Mrs. Weiss was born October 12, 1913 in Tschervenka Cservenka Austria - Hungary residing in the Mansfield area since 1949. She attended the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle-Bellville Rd. Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are one daughter, Louise Weiss Gallik of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Geary J. Gallik and his spouse, Patty Gallik of Lexington; and Taryn R. Gallik of Mansfield; four great-grandchildren, Geary II, Bradley, Michael and Derek; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Margaret Neider of Mansfield and Louise and Willie Klees of Sun City, Arizona; one sister-in-law, Katharina Rephun of Mansfield; three nephews and their spouses, Adam Beny Jr.; Henry and Donna Neider; and Dan Jr. and Susan Rephun; three nieces and their spouses, Rose and Martin Ries; Eileen and Fred Gerber; and Elfriede and Ed Norton; a number of great-nieces and nephews and one cousin, Anna Schmidt of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Julianna Webel Rephun; her husband, Heinrich Weiss; four sisters, Julianna, Elisabeth, Rosalia and Katharina; one brother, Daniel; and one son-in-law, John Gallik.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services which will be held on Monday November 6, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle-Bellville Rd. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
