Henry Weiss

Heinrich Henry Weiss, age 88, of 109 W. Straub Rd., died January 16, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield after a brief illness.  Mr. Weiss was born February 18, 1911 in Tschervenka, Austria Hungary and was a Mansfield resident since 1949.  He was a retired carpenter, and attended the Apostolic Christian Church Middle-Bellville Rd. and a 50 year member of Carpenter's Local Union 735.

Surviving are his wife; Helen RephunWeiss, whom he married January 23, 1936 of Mansfield, one daughter; Louise Weiss Gallik of Mansfield, two brothers; Karl Weiss of Germany and Adam Weiss of Mansfield, Ohio, three sisters-in-law; Louise and Willi Klees of Arizona, Margaret Neider and Katherine Rephun, both of Mansfield, Ohio, two grandchildren and spouse; Geary J. and Patty Gallik of Lexington, Ohio, and Taryn R. Gallik of Mansfield, Ohio, four great-grandchildren; Geary II, Bradley, Michael and Derek, numerous nieces and nephews in Germany and Mansfield and one cousin; Anna Schmidt of Mansfield, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents Johann and Katharine Weiss, one sister; Katharina Kirst, two brothers; Johann and Mathias Weiss and one son-in-law; John Gallik.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Thursday, January 20, 2000, conducted by Apostolic Christian Church Middle-Bellville Rd.. Burial will be at the Mansfield Cemetery.
