
Howard H. Cook, 85, of Mansfield, died Thursday afternoon, October 21, 2004, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born February 6, 1919, in Mansfield to Harry and Elta Cook. He retired as the owner and operator of a dairy farm. Howard was a lifetime member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Madison School Board, Richland County Farm Bureau and Advisory Council, Mifflin #1, and a Mifflin Township Trustee.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Janeith Cook of Mansfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and John Pasheilich of Clearwater, Florida, and Carol and David Groff of Mansfield. He greatly enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and is survived by Brian and Lisa Cook, Bruce and Sue Cook, Bradley Cook, Kenneth and Peggy Rogers, Melissa Rogers and her fiancé, Rick Cannon, Mark and Lori Groff, Melanie Groff and her fiancé, Adam Comstock; four great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Donna Cook of Delaware, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 55 years, Frances E. Kohler Cook and brother, Harold Cook.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, October 24, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Monday at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Ronald Daley. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ohio State University Medical Center for Vascular Research.
