

Isobel Rollins Bredon, 87, of Mansfield died early Saturday morning, February 14, 2004, at Woodlawn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was born July 18, 1916, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to Nathan and Anna Woolard Rollins and was a Mansfield area resident since 1947. Isobel was a 1933 graduate of East Fairmont High School. She attended Main St. United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She collected miniature animals and enjoyed reading. Isobel was devoted to her husband of 57 years, Paul A. Bredon, whom she married September 14, 1946,
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Goff Rollins of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and two sisters, Alice Eddy of Colfax, West Virginia and Clara Slater of Casselberry, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Lela Rollins and Laura Shaffer.
Funeral services, conducted by J. Dalton Derr, will be held Monday, February 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church for the benefit of Traditional Music.
