

Jack Lewis Fry, 90, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 13, 2011 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home. Born October 23, 1921 in Mansfield, he was the son of the late John W. and Marie (Salyes) Fry.
Jack graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1939 and was a member of Southside Christian Church. He retired in 1986 from Cole Tool and Die Co. and worked as a tool and die maker for 36 years. Jack enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, camping and playing the organ.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie E. (Ritchie) Fry; son, Richard A. Fry of Mansfield; daughter, Nancy Ann (Edward) Glogowski of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Connie (Bill) Cutlip of Shiloh and Paul Glogowski of Mansfield; three great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Alex and Casey Cutlip; and a sister-in-law, Esther Fry of Mansfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Fry; and brother, Robert Fry.
Friends and family may visit from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A funeral service will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with additional viewing beginning at 12:30 p.m. Rev. Paul Lintern will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
