Jalene Dawson

Jalene Schulte Dawson, 43, of Mansfield died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born March 18, 1958, to James and Marlene Perkins Schulte in Mansfield. She spent most of her life in the area and attended the Mayflower Congregational Church. Mrs. Dawson was employed as a sales associate with Tuttle's Landscaping.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Randy Dawson; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jason and Dottie Dawson of Ft. Campbell, KY with the 101St Airborne Division, and Derek Dawson of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kaleb Dawson; her father and step-mother, James and Pat Schulte of Lexington; her mother, Marlene Schulte of Mansfield; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Peggy Schulte, Danny and Tammy Schulte, and Andy and Tacy Schulte, all of Mansfield; one step-sister and brother-in-law, Dee and Lee Osborne of Scottsdale, AZ; two brothers-in-law and their spouses, Frank and Cindy Dawson of Mansfield, and Paul and Christine Dawson of Perrysville; and her in-laws, Floyd and Betty Dawson of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Friends may call Saturday, July 7, 2001, from 12-2 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. conducted by Dr. Gary Wilson.
