James Lowe

James E. Lowe, 79, of 1114 Cobblefield Dr. died unexpectedly Friday morning, February 22, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield. Mr. Lowe was born May 15, 1922 moving to Mansfield in 1989 from the Cleveland area. He retired from Standard Products after 43 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Amvets #26, VFW Post 9943, American Legion #16, and Liederkranz. Mr. Lowe was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret M. Lowe of Ontario; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Paul Beard of Ontario; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert & Donna Lowe of Windom, Ohio and Jeffrey & Karen Lowe of Lakewood, Ohio; six grandchildren, Hallie and Andrew Beard, and Shalyn, Tanya, Clayton and Jamie Lowe; and a great-granddaughter, Tori. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest & Lizzie Lowe.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 1-6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church Monday at 10:00 a.m. conducted by the church. Military services will be held in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery by the Richland County Burial Detail of the Joint Veterans Council.
