James Alan Wilson

James was born on August 27, 1967 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was the son of James and Vivian (Wiles) Wilson. James was an honest, hardworking man who enjoyed simple living. He loved cookouts, hunting, fishing, and tinkering with old cars. A race fan, James enjoyed attending racing events.

He is survived by his parents; his children, Matthew (Kelly Bowman) Wilson, Dakota “Cody” Wilson, and Dalton Wilson; his grandchild, Brynlee Wilson; and his siblings, Jay Wilson and Michelle Wilson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth “Mickie” and Woody Foster, and John and Romalene Wiles; and his great-grandparents, Matt and Ruby Wilson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Richland Rural Life Center, 969 Crall Rd., on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 pm. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the Wilson family.
