Janet K. Goddard, 60, of Mansfield, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at her home. Born March 23, 1945 in Marion, she was the daughter of Ralph and Thelma Eibling Skinner. She retired from Empire Steel after 32 years of service and volunteered at the Renaissance Theater. She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Thelma Skinner of Mansfield; mother-in-law, Irene Goddard of Mansfield; two sisters, Carol Matthes of Ontario, and Marjorie and Terry Montgomery of Redford, Michigan; one brother, Michael and Pamela Skinner of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darl 'Jim' Goddard.A memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hemophiliac Foundation or the American Diabetes Association. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
