Janice L Baker

She was born on April 29, 1941 to Fred H. Jurgens and Louise B. Dunn Jurgens. She worked for Westinghouse for 30 years before moving to Georgia where she worked for PakStar USA and Equifax. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and her beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgis, which there were many over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald E. Baker of Mansfield; and her brother-in-law, Jeff Burns.

She is survived by her step-daughters, Sharon Baker (Marshall) Magee of Dublin, OH and Stephanie (David) Griffiths of Mansfield, OH; grandchildren, Emily (Caleb) McClain of Mansfield, Kathryn Magee of Dublin, OH and Grace Magee of Parma, OH; great-grandchildren Jacob and Nora McClain; sister Joann Burns of Mansfield; and niece and nephew, Lori Hager and Tom (Robin) Hager, both of Mansfield.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:30 am at Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Richland County Humane Society or St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Mansfield.
