
Jayne Wilson Kennedy, 49, of Mansfield died early Thursday morning, November 13, 2003 at Oak Grove Manor after an extended illness. She was born November 5, 1954 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Merle D. and Marjorie M. Gantenbein Wilson. Jayne was an area homemaker for the past 20 years. She loved to play Bingo and spend time with her grandchildren, family and her beloved dog Penny.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Kennedy; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shurrey and Frank Jenkins, Michelle Snelson and Roger Merrell, all of Mansfield and Tina and Shawn Ray of Olive Hill, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Iesha Darby, Tommy Darby, Aaliyah Jenkins, Equawn Jefferson, Roger Merrell III, all of Mansfield, Devin Ray of Olive Hill; mother, Marjorie Wilson of Tucson, Arizona; one brother, Raymond Wilson of Tucson; two sisters, Debra Wilson and Kathy French, both of Tucson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle D. Wilson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be held in Mansfield Cemetery on Tuesday, November 18 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
