Jeanette C. Willis, 93, of Mansfield, died Saturday evening, February 4, 2006 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. Born October 25, 1912 in Blair, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Flun and Annie Coleman Camak. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Willis had worked at the Shelby Depot. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and shopping.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Chana and Simuel E. Robinson III of Mansfield; one grandson, Simuel K. Robinson of Mansfield; and many family members and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband William Bill Willis in 1993.
Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2006 conducted by Dr. Johnny Heckard. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Association. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
