

We lost a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and dear friend but the Lord has received an angel. Jeanne L. Thomas, 83, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her home.
Jeanne was born on June 29, 1937 in Randsburg, California. She was the daughter of Homer Temple and Alexine (Messick) Ward. Jeanne retired after 21 years from Therm-O-Disc. She was a dedicated member of Woodville Grace Brethren Church for 37 years, and loved the Lord and her church family with all her heart. She was a very talented photographer, leaving behind a family history of cherished memories captured in photo albums as far back as 1889 to 2007. She won many awards for her photographs and had many different subjects she photographed with her favorite being her grandchildren.
Jeanne leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Kelley Henry; her son, Cary Henry; her step-children, Kelly Johnson, and Kimberly (Terry) Laubacher; her adored eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and her sisters, Carol Heather, and Jeannette Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Thomas; her sister, Lorene Temple; her brother, Lyndell Temple; her step mother, Virginia Temple; nephews, Mike and Mitch Giles; and a grandson, Greg Henry.
Family and friends may visit from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Woodville Grace Brethren Church, 580 Woodville Road, on Monday, September 21, 2020. Services will begin immediately at 2:00 pm, conducted by Pastor Ron Smals. Jeanne will be laid to rest at Mansfield Cemetery. The family request no flowers be sent but instead you make a donation in honor of Jeanne to the Pat Kracker Breast Cancer Foundation. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Thomas family.
