
Jeffrey Miller, 53, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Triumph Hospital. Born July 13, 1957 in Mansfield, he was the son of James C. and Amy Peck Miller. Jeffrey loved dogs and was an avid collector. He played a lot of softball early in life and was passionate about his Fantasy Sport Leagues. Jeffrey was a chef at Mohican lodge for a number of years. A highlight during his career was cooking for President George H. Bush when he came to Ohio. His family and friends alike will remember him as a lovable man with a kind nature.
He is survived by his brother, D.R. Robyn Miller of Pendleton, IN; sister, Karese Miller of El Paso, TX; mother, Amy Peck Miller of El Paso, TX; father, James Miller of El Paso, TX; nieces, Ashley and Michaela Miller of Pendleton, IN; biological father, Ed Vild of Florida; aunt, Marge John Fox of Florida; uncle, Allen Vicki Vild of Ashland; and cousins, Greg Fox, Tom Fox, and Heidi Horosh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Georgia Vild and Don and Evelyn Miller, and his brother, Chip Miller.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 12, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario, conducted by Pastor Mark Dettmer. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
