Jeffrey A. Wilson

Jeffrey A. Wilson, 51, of Mansfield, passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital on Sunday, September 3, 2018. Jeffrey was born on March 23, 1967 in Mansfield, Ohio, the son of Richard "Dick" Wilson and Judy (Clyde) Blank.

Jeffrey was a 1985 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School where he studied auto body and fell in love with welding. Jeffrey knew that laughter was the best medicine in life, as he could be found playing jokes often with his awesome sense of humor. He used his talent and skills to make many different things from wood including bookshelves, cabinets, benches and birdhouses. Jeffery was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather.

He leaves behind his wife of 13 years, Melissa Wilson; daughters, Cayleigh Tetlow and Brittany (Justus) Gibbs; grandchildren, Riley Dawn Gibbs and Colton Charles Gibbs; mother, Judy Blank; sister, Robin (Barry) Morey; and brother, Rick (Mickey) Wilson. Preceding Jeffrey in death was his father, Dick Wilson; daughter, Amber Tetlow; and step father, Orrville "Shorty" Blank.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1951 Middle-Bellville Road. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the Wilson family.
